This is the last book in Mac McKenzie series, and I am thankful to NetGalley for providing me an ARC so I can read and review it before it’s officially published.
I do hope more books for McKenzie are published in the future or even some spinoffs from some of the other characters.
For this one, McKenzie is on the hunt for who might have been the target of a possible crime. With all the people involved, I was a bit confused a few times. But, despite that, I always like McKenzie’s investigative skills, I mean, he is a former cop so he knows a thing or two! As always, a lot of things happen to McKenzie and if you want to know what happens, read the book! See, no spoilers.
Just So You Know, the final chapter in this one and most of the other prior books, the author gives a quick overview of what happened to the main people involved. It’s a pretty interesting way to end.
So, now, can I start stalking David Housewright to see what is thinking of doing next? Come on, please write something for me and all the other Mckenzie fans.
In the meantime, I am going to read his other series, Holland Taylor.
