How many situations can McKenzie escape from? In this one, he is tasered and kidnapped across state lines from MN to Libbie, South Dakota. He survives that ordeal, and eventually comes back to Libbie (as he needs to catch an imposter who took his identity and name). While there for the 2nd time, he is taken across states lines again and stranded. A nice young woman named Angela rescues him and McKenzie gives her and her family money.
Of course, people die. This is a Mac Mckenzie book.

Of course, in the end, McKenzie figures everything out and that kind of reminded me of the endings of a Scooby Doo episode!
