You Never Know: A Memoir – by Tom Selleck

Posted on 05/15/202403/27/2026 by Mark Lieberman

You will never know that I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I thought I would. That’s primarily because it’s about Magnum P.I. and I never watched it. I did a have a Magnum P.I. tray for food when I was younger, so I put a lot of stuff on his face and mustache.

He provided a lot of interesting insight to Magnum P.I., so if you are fan, then you should read it. I still don’t have any interest in any of the epodes.

Nothing was mentioned about the Jesse Stone movies, of which I have watched them all and read all the books. A few pages for Three Men and a Baby and Bluebloods.

I did enjoy reading about his military background, how me met his current wife (she was in CATS in London, when he saw the performance), and all of his stories from the sets of both movies and television shows.
