This is the 9th book in the Sunny Randall series, and in this one, she is hired by her best friend Spike when somebody takeover his restaurant in a shady loan agreement. She is also hired by one of her many cop friends, Lee Farrell, to help find his missing niece. The cases have something in common which she finds out by surprise, and with the help from her two primary lovers (ex husband Richie Burke and Chief of Police Jesse Stone), she does a lot of private investigating to find out who did what to who and where they were. See no spoilers! I mean, I can easily spoil as these books are not new.
