Tomorrow, I have to go back to work at my work from office after being off since September 30th. Even though I really wanted to do some fun things with Niko, we only ended up doing one thing fun and that was washing the Mama Mobile inside and out.
One of the biggest reasons why we didn’t do more is he has been waking up super early for the past few weeks and when that happens, he doesn’t want to go out. But, that trend of waking up early actually has been getting better. On Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and today, he woke up around two hours later as we moved his sleepy time to around 8 pm those previous nights. Man, by the time we leave his room, he is already sleeping and I am glad, because my brain and body needs time to recover and prepare for the next day.
I actually did get him out of the house a couple of times, but they were quick drives for shakes, breakfast tacos, and coffee for Nina.
I had ordered Armor All cleaning supplies and thought Niko would enjoy spraying the Mama Mobile; and he did. Then, a few days later, we took the Mama Mobile to a do-it-yourself-carwash. At first, Niko complained about the noise and also the fact that he was getting a little bit wet. But, eventually, he did take the hose and sprayed the Mama Mobile. I told Nina, your car is not sparkling, but it is cleaner that it was before! That was one of my Anniversary gifts to Nina and I called it an art project.
On Friday, I went to a store by myself to get flowers and chocolate for her. I have ordered this stuff before from Edible Arrangements and 1-800-Flowers, but the quality was pathetic; moldy strawberries and dead roses. That is why I wanted to go to a store so I could pick it out myself. When I was putting my stuff down to checkout, an unmasked, tattooed, pierced ears, tank top gentleman asked me what she would like more; the flowers, the sushi which he called it (shrimp cocktail), or the chocolate? I answered, definitely the chocolate for her. Then, I explained to him that I got something for everybody so we will all be happy; shrimp cocktail for Niko and I, some chocolate for Niko, some chocolate for me, and flowers and chocolate the Nina. I am very happy to talk to complete strangers as I am not shy.
On Saturday, I picked up lunch from a local seafood restaurant. In the evening, we watched The Muppets Haunted Mansion on Disney Plus.
On Sunday, we celebrated number 11 by doing a whole lot of nothing. Nina painted some of the walls in the house, I did my typical Sunday chores, and Nina cooked us a fresh dinner. Just a typical Sunday in our house.
