Is Niko spoiled? Of course he is and I really don’t care what anybody thinks. If he asks for something; whether it be food, a toy, or a particular thing or place to do or go, I most of the time can say YES!
If I can’t say yes, I explain to him the reasoning and most of the time he understands and if he doesn’t I try my best to distract him with something else and that always works!
A few weeks ago, we went to Walmart. I asked him what he wanted. His reply was crayons! So, we got some washable crayons and a fun sticker pad to doodle on.
Yesterday, I was planning on taking him out for breakfast and then to HEB (a grocery store) to pick up our online order. When we got downstairs, IP asked him if was ready to leave and he said NO! He said he wanted to eat at home. So, I was like, OK, we can eat at home and then leave in a few hours for HEB. I asked him if he wanted a ham and cheese omelette or a salmon omelette? His reply was a very enthusiastic salmon omelette. Hey, it was easy for me to cook, smelly, and yummy for both of us; yes, we share food! Sometimes, by sharing it’s the only the way he will eat. Flash forward to a few hours later and we were in the car almost to HEB when he told me he was hungry; yes, he is definitely my son! I asked him if he wanted noodles from Panda Express or a bagel from Panera Bread? He said bagel and of course, they were out so I had to ad lib with soup, mac and cheese, a sandwich for me, and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for him. Again, we shared everything and afterward, he told me was very full!
This morning, he wanted to go to a store and that store just happened to be Target. As the three of us were wondering around sleepily around the store, Nina asked me why are we here and do we need anything! I replied, well, Niko chose it and, nope, we don’t need anything. So, don’t ask me why and what we spent $43 dollars on! OK, you nosy people, we got cranberries, sunglasses for Nina, some Tupperware because Tupperware is awesome stuff for Niko to play with, my food for work, and leftovers, and I got new boxers!
