Brushing Teeth

Posted on 07/17/201803/13/2026 by Mark Lieberman

Ever since I started doing all the nighttime stuff with Niko; we are weening him off breastmilk in the evening, I brush his teeth after he drinks his milk and water and eats a snack.  Its really fun watching him learn as I let him play with the toothbrush in his mouth, I let him brush my teeth; what other dad lets his 2 year old brush his teeth, and I have been teaching him to drink water, swoosh it around your mouth, and then spit it out.  And, after we are done, his mouth smells like bubble gum!  I even have used it mainly because of the flavor!

The first few times he drank the water, he spilled it all over his pajamas and I couldn’t let him be wet, so I had to a total clothes swap.
