In Gad We Trust: A Tell-Some – by Josh Gad

Posted on 01/18/202504/22/2025 by Mark

I saw this book as a new release a few weeks ago, and thought I threw it in my Want to Read list on Goodreads for future consumption, but that didn’t happen. Last Wednesday, I was scanning through the Apple Book new releases and saw it and downloaded a sample. The sample was enough for me to purchase it.

I knew of Josh Gad from The Book of Mormon and from the Frozen movies as Olaf, but had no clue of anything else he has done which he does talk about throughout the book. He shares how he got started in the business as well as a lot of audition failures. He talked deeply about his weight, his anxiety, his parents, his wife, and his kids.

Overall, I enjoyed it and his stories and am interested to see what he does next.
