I will have stats, pics, and stories for every HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL game I work this season on mdlblog.com. I am planning to have them published on Saturday’s and Sunday’s but that could change because I have no deadlines and a life outside of High School Football (full-time job and a wife). I will use my own personal Facebook page to promote my BLOG articles when they are completed.
One of those BLOGS will be NUMBER 500 (this is number 474). Man, thank god I got some time to think about what I shall do for that!! Just some quickie ideas: 500 cat photos, 500 happy minutes, 500 word blog, or 500 junior mints (that I eat)…I even got my wife and mother-in-law thinking thinking of ideas for me! One of my co-workers suggested I autograph a football and give that away.
I also got Alamo stadium turf because I have been documenting the Alamo stadium/Alamo Convocation Center renovations (that would be a cool give-a-away). The gym was completed in January of this year and the football stadium will be ready for the Lanier Voks and Central Catholic Buttons next Thursday! Hey, if you want to own a piece of Alamo stadium (old seats and turf), click here!! I am probably gonna buy some old seats.
Dude, if anything funny happens to me in the press-box, I will tell you (I am not shy).
Oh, on Wednesday’s, I will select the stat/player of the week (from the games I worked the previous week).
I also have a LIST OF PLAYERS TO WATCH IN 2014 and whenever I work one of there games, I will dive into there stats a bit more than normal and maybe I can contact them to answer some questions (but they have to be non football related).
