I totally didn’t expect the Johnson Jaguars to beat the undefeated Smithson Valley Rangers. So, just like that, the number 1 team in 5A as ranked by the San Antonio Express is out and so is the dream match-up of Smithson Valley and Steele (for the 2nd year in a row)!!! Could the Johnson Jaguars be the Cinderella team of the 2013 Playoffs? Well, if they beat Brandeis on Friday, I am going to say YES!!
I expected the number 1 team in Sub 4A, the Brennan Bears to beat the number 3 team in Sub 4A, the Clemens Buffaloes, but not by a score of 56 to 0!!! WOW!!! That was a HUGE statement win to the rest of 4A Division I.
