On December 3rd, the Steele Knights defeated the Reagan Rattlers 35-10. I thought Reagan would be able to hang with them. Obviously by the score, I was totally wrong. Also that same day, the Devine Warhorses were eliminated.
So, for Week 15, we have 2 teams remaining, STEELE and MADISON! And, after a few weeks off and a trip to Cincinnati, I am back and ready to do my stat magic this weekend.
Both games are at 4pm on Saturday, December 10th in different cities; one in San Antonio and the other in Houston. That makes me upset with the “FOOTBALL GODS.” I thought this would be a doubleheader and I could work both games! CRAP!
The Madison Mavericks play Fort Bend Hightower at the Alamodome. Winner of this game plays in the state championship game on Saturday, December 17th at Cowboys stadium at 4pm. Wow! I still can’t believe Madison has made it this far. They barely beat Judson in Week 11.
The Steele Knights play Port Arthur Memorial at Reliant stadium. Winner of this game plays in the state championship game on Saturday, December 17th at Cowboys stadium at 8pm. I expected Steele to make it this far. They are rolling along and have won 28 games in a row (going back to last season).
Which game will Mark work? I am going to Reliant stadium!! I am also hoping I can make it to a deli which is pretty close to the stadium. I have never been to Reliant and am looking forward to it. Gonna bring my camera and take lots of pictures. Check my blog on Sunday for a recap and pictures!
