On Thursday, the Dallas Cowboys had a preseason game on CW35, so I had the night off!!! Today is my wife’s birthday and I took the day off from work to spend with her, so another night off!!! It was very strange being home on a Friday night during the football season.
I am looking forward to listening to the Judson broadcast and possibly participating in the Friday Night Football Chat from the San Antonio Express News (if I can help them out ) this evening. Lorne Chan and Blake Hurtik are the moderators and writers for high school football. I met Blake last week and told him I was amazed at how they can chat, answer questions, keep stats, and watch there respective games and not miss a beat!!!
I did help my radio boss, Bobby Stautzenberger, with the Tom Benson Chevrolet Friday Night Scoreboard on KLUP-AM 930 at 10:30pm (we provide scores from around the area and have our crews call in and summarize the games they worked).
I am working the Taft Raiders Vs Brennan Bears tomorrow night.
