Yesterday, we went to The Shops at La Cantera, for lunch, legos, and chocolate. Separate, not food made out of legos.
The reason being is Niko did something good for a month, and the reward for completion was we would buy him a lego set for $100. Actually, I won as I also participated, but Niko claims he won as he checked all the days. But, I personally know he missed a few. It doesn’t matter anyway. The whole point was to get him to do something, and he did it.
We are going to do another reward, but for this one, Niko has specifically asked for a certain lego set, and I said yes. So, let’s wait and see.
Whenever we go to La Cantera, it’s always enjoyable and fun. We had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and got some chocolate from Lolli and Pops. And, of course, at the Lego Store, Niko looked at every single set, and he wanted the super duper expensive sets! He even had the set for the next time in his hand, and I thought about it for a second, and I said no for today, but yes for next time. He ended up getting a new lego set called Command Rover and Crane Loader. It was 758 pieces and he did the majority of it on his own. It was really cool when it got completed.
For The Cheesecake Factory, I like it, but I hate trying to figure out what I want to eat as the menu is enormous. So, I have to narrow it down to a few genres of food. Yesterday, I had it down to seafood, Orange Chicken, or something from the brunch menu.
Let me get a drumroll please…..
I had herb crusted salmon with asparagus and mashed potatoes and a cup of tortilla soup. It was good as I ate everything, but I don’t think I will be ordering that again. Niko had a cheeseburger (at the Factory, they call it a glamburger!) and Nina had a sandwich with bacon, chicken, and avocado. I probably would’ve been better off with the Orange Chicken or chicken and waffles! But, I won’t complain, as I got food and I had great company in Nina and Niko.
