I don’t have anything brewing in my brain for what to write today. Sometimes, I tell Niko my after work and on the weekends, my brain is literally a monkey playing the drums!
I could tell you how much I enjoyed waking up at 4:45 am on Friday. It wasn’t fun. Despite that, Niko and Nina did have a pleasant day at my parents’ house, and afterwards they went to Trader Joes. When he has early wakeups, we try our best to get him to sleep a little bit earlier than normal. Well, Saturday, he slept till 7 am, so almost 12 hours of sleep – we need like 345 more of those for Niko.
I was planning on taking him out in the world on Saturday, but he was still recovering from Friday. So, we did a pinky swear for something today.
Oh, Nina and I enjoy seeing funny videos on Instagram, and one of them on Saturday was a 7-year-old boy dressed as Bowser singing the Peaches songs to his fellow classmates.
Wait, Niko is 7.
Wait, Niko has a Bowser costume as for the past two Halloweens, he was Bowser.
Wait, Niko can sing.
Wait, was that boy Niko? No, it wasn’t him, but when I suggested he can do the same thing, Niko was like yes. I have never seen him get undressed and dressed faster. I mean, one minute he was Niko and the next minute, he was Bowser.
We went downstairs where we have a keyboard. He didn’t quite know the words, so I put the song on, showed the lyrics on his iPad, and put earbuds in. That way, he can hear it and read it, and immediately, he started to sing.
So, here are some pictures and if you follow me on Instagram, you can see a short video of Niko Bowser singing Peaches.
Oh, I guess my monkey is the smartest monkey in the world because I wrote this in less than 5 minutes!
