time off

Posted on 04/12/201604/19/2025 by Mark
On Monday and Tuesday, I took some well-deserved time off from work.  I have to be honest and tell you that I am tired.  Besides going to work full-time where I leave at 6:30 in the morning and come home at 4:45 in the afternoon, I also do a lot at home.  Like vacuuming, laundry, cooking, cleaning the kitchen, changing the bedding, cleaning the cat box, taking the trash out, and much more.

Since last February, I have been also playing a role of Nurse Mark after her surgery and especially now since she is pregnant.

No complaints from me because I love taking care of my wife and it makes feel food when I do something she appreciates.  Ladies and men, I am married so don’t even think about trying to tempt me, it won’t work on me!!!!

It’s funny because our personalities are caregivers so we always clash as I try to help her first even if I am in pain and vice versa!!!

Except for Sunday (where we actually got out of the house to buy me new eyeglasses, eat lunch, and shop at HEB), I was very lazy and wanted it that way. This is probably going to be the last time I have time off without having a child, a wife, and a cat to take care off.  I always feel refreshed when I get back to work.

The only thing I wasn’t counting on was my back hurting.  I have no clue how it happened but I know for a fact that is started hurting after we organized the baby’s room on Monday morning.  Yeah, I was moving stuff around and bringing strollers downstairs. Hopefully, the pain will go away in a few days.
