The Walking Niko

Posted on 04/02/201704/19/2025 by Mark

Within the past few days, Niko has started to walk.  It is really funny and fun to watch him because he isn’t yet a master (heck, I haven’t mastered it yet as I am a bit clumsy).  I don’t even think he knows what is he doing, but he knows it’s something good because Nina and I cheer him on with claps and happy words of encouragement.

The next thing for him to accomplish is his first words (he already says momma and dada and hi and a lot of grunts an screams), but I am waiting for him to say something extremely important that he has been trying to get out for a few months.  I have a feeling that when he starts talking (and, if he is anything like me), he won’t be able keep it shut!!!!  And, you know something, if that happens, I am OK because it will be very nice to have a conversation with him.  I wonder what questions he will ask me?

Oh, today is Niko’s 11 month birthday.  Something Nina and I do each 2nd of the month for Niko (but mainly for us) is we do hand and foot prints (not of us).
