No, this isn’t the title of my unpublished autobiography, but it could very well be. I like everything but candles! One of my many fun names that Nina calls me is Marker! Nina, can you please provide my readers with all of my nicknames? Actually, please don’t. Thanks.
No, this is way better than that.
It’s what Niko and I did last Saturday in the world. He called the shots, and I drove him and paid for everything. Well, at Ross for markers, he asked me if he could have the money to pay, so I gave him cash. As the cashier was giving him his change, he asked me what do I with it? I smiled and said put it in your pocket!
The candle store was Bath and Body works, and he mostly likes to smell them. On repeat in my daddy voice to Niko, was please be careful with the candles as I don’t want any of them to spill and break on the floor. I saw a bunch of workers and customers smiling at as we strolled through the store, as they definitely heard my daddy voice. My daddy voice is not booming and frustrated. It’s the opposite – calm and soothing.
Bath and Body works is a store I don’t enjoy. Oh, and Nina likes the smelly candles also and requested something with a rose scent. I am glad one of the ladies working there heard me tell Niko that we need to get Nina a rose scented candle, because she had one and gave it to me. Niko got some fruit scented candles, and I got some smelly amber 3 in 1 hair, face, and body wash. I kind of just grabbed it because I was out of shampoo and conditioner for myself, and Niko doesn’t usually let me look at things I may want to buy. I was also out of shaving cream, but Nina picked some up for at Costco on Friday. I did look at Harry’s as I am a member but couldn’t wait for it to be delivered; and I also knew that Nina was doing either Costco or a grocery store delivery on Friday.
I was also a member of Dollar Shave Club, and so, you’re probably wondering which one is better? Well, I don’t know, to be honest. My biggest thing I like about both is the blades are not expensive and I select when I want them delivered. Plus, the other products they offer smell good.
Outside the smelly store as I like to call it, were some girl scouts and I asked Niko if he wanted some. Cookies, not the actual girl scouts! He wanted one of everything, and I said pick three please. We ended up getting four, because I like Thin Mints (they are gone as I ate the entire box). Niko was surprised because he was expecting one cookie for each flavor we got. I was like nope; we get the whole box sweetie.
Next up was not a real “Lego store”, but a store called Bricks and Minifigs. He wanted to buy a set and put it together himself. I gave him a budget of $20, and yeah, I had to show him the sets in that price range. He ended up getting a car, and he put the first few pieces together. But then I had to take over and finish it. That always how it happens, right?
The pizza store was last, and we ordered a large pepperoni pizza with two waters. When the pizza was delivered to our table, they apologized because they burned it and were already making another one for us. Burnt or not burnt, we didn’t care as we ate most of the burnt one and took the rest of that one home along with the non-burnt one home. I did say thanks for “making it right” to the staff.
I almost forgot that before we did all this, we played for a few minutes at the school playground.
