I was planning on writing about how much I enjoy cooking, especially when I get kudos from Nina and Niko. It’s usually me, who makes Niko breakfast all week long. I feel like I am a small family-owned diner as I offer a few things on the menu and let him choose what his mouth desires.
What will I be writing about instead. Well, Niko also enjoys cooking and he has a great teacher in mom!
Tonight, after Niko and I ate dinner, he asked me if we could make something together. He obviously had an idea. I said yes, but whatever it is, it needs to be fried and not baked.
He got milk, eggs, flour, salt, sugar, sprinkles, and chocolate chips and mixed them together. I had to help a little bit. Then, I was on deck as the fryer. When it was finished, we had pancakes! I told Niko to go to the staircase and ask Nina if she wanted one. Her answer was yes with whipped cream! I was like really! So, Niko and I did that for her and if we had strawberries, I would’ve put one on top as well. Oh, Niko also wanted whipped cream and syrup. I only had syrup on mine. But, man, they were really good. Hot and cold at the same time. I think next time, I offer to make pancakes, I will get Niko to help me.
