NaNoWriMo 11/11/2022

Posted on 11/11/202203/13/2026 by Mark Lieberman

So, today was a day off for me because I work for a bank, and my plans were to mow the front lawn after we dropped Niko off at school, pick up our grocery order, Starbucks for Nina, and maybe something for me somewhere else. Oh, yeah, how can I forget, I definitely want a nap.

Well, I got all of that done, and I am having a great day. Just clock watching now, so either I or the both of us can pick up Niko form school. Also, watching the weather because it’s cool and supposed to rain, and if it rains, I need to change the plans as rather than driving and parking on a street near the school, I will have to drive to the school and park and wait for him.

Now, let me give you quick rundown of a few fun things I did today:

5:15 AM
Niko comes in the bedroom, and says I am done sleeping. I was in the middle of a dream where I was going away, and I forget to pack shorts, underwear, and shirts. When I went to back to get it, the door was locked.

When he wakes up, I am up with him. I have to turn the baby monitor off, grab my drink, phone, and Kindle, and then shine my phone flashlight to find Riley cat. Usually, Niko has eyes on Riley, so I exit our bedroom, shut the door, and make my way to Niko’s bedroom. This allows Nina to get a few extra minutes of sleep

6:00 AM
Breakfast time for Niko and me. Making scrambled eggs is easy and delicious, especially, if we put ham, bacon, or cheese in it and then put it in a tortilla. But this morning, I blame myself, as I told him we could make waffles tomorrow, but he wanted them this morning. So, I made chocolate chip sprinkled waffles, and we smothered butter and syrup on them.

Should I keep going on or is this getting boring to you? No answer, so you get more!

By 8:15 AM, I had already mowed the front lawn and taken a shower. Even though it was cool with a possibility of rain, I still sweated a lot.

At 9:30 AM, I was in the mamma mobile, also known as Nina’s car, to pick up our grocery store order. Earlier in the morning, Niko, wanted a special kind of apple juice and Nina didn’t order it, so I had to go into the store to get that and I also got some Mark things that I wanted – frozen pizza for lunch, chips, and pretzels. Nina ordered the same pretzels that I got; we know what we all like!

After the grocery store, I went to my favorite place in the world, STARBUCKS. That is a big fat lie, as I only go for Nina. I don’t drink coffee, and rarely eat the fake real food there. I am glad she can order on the app, because if I had to order on my own for her, I would be absolutely lost. One time, I did have order for her, but thankfully, Nina texted me what she wanted.

I arrived home at 11:00 AM and was napping at 11:11 AM. When I woke up at 12:45 pm, I made the frozen pizza for lunch.

Don’t worry, I am almost done. I just have one more thing and then I will end this blog. That will be nice because that means tonight, I can finish watching the Weird Al Yankovic movie on the Roku channel.

At 2:30 PM, I left to go pick up Niko from school. It was cool and cloudy when I left, and when Niko and I were leaving, it started to rain. So, we ran through the parking lot, crossed the street where the crossing guard hangs out, and jumped into my car. Even though we got wet, it was fun.

Now, I am done. It’s 3:56 PM and I am going to publish this now.
