Foul Language

Posted on 01/31/201704/19/2025 by Mark

A few weeks ago, Nina asked me stop my foul language because she doesn’t want Niko repeating it (when he does start talking).  I was like of course (I totally don’t want that either).

But, I have to be honest and tell you that this will be hard for me because I have been doing it for my entire life.  I remember when my brother (he is 4 years older than me) and I saw George Carlin on television (thanks to HBO) and he did the 7 dirty words you can’t say on TV.  Well, as soon as we heard them, we were running around the house repeating them!!  I never got in trouble when I was younger for cursing.  I mean, to this day, sometimes when I speak to my parents, curse words flow out of our mouths (not in a bad way, but in a fun way).

I am trying to stop and often when a curse word comes out of my mouth (where else would it come from), I stop half way thru it!!!

So, Nina, I will apologize in advance if Niko says a curse word.  I did it and he heard it and now it is on repeat for a few days (at least until the next curse word comes out of my mouth).
