Father’s Day 2022 and Juneteenth

Posted on 06/19/202203/13/2026 by Mark Lieberman

Usually, I always have something written in advance for Sunday as that is the day I publish something new. But I have nothing folks.

I do have something in draft status about books. But I can publish that one on Wednesday. I don’t really have anybody to talk to about the books I read, so that is why I write it down! Maybe I should start The Dad Speaks BOOKCLUB!

Oh, it’s Father’s Day today. I know Nina and Niko got me some stuff because Niko kept showing me the wrapped gifts last night. I don’t ask for a lot, but this morning I am hoping to get some breakfast tacos. We are going to my parents’ house later today for some BBQ. I picked up a card for my dad from Niko and Niko decorated it.

Oh, and tomorrow, I am off for Juneteenth. Niko and I will do something out in the world.

Well, that is all I have. It’s 9:33 pm on Saturday night and my eyes are tired. I will happily close down the first floor and go upstairs and read for a few minutes before I close my eyes for good. I am hoping to finish James Patterson, Along Came a Spider book by Monday – then, I can watch the movie. I just read his autobiography and like his writing style and so far, I am enjoying reading the first book of a lot about Alex Cross.
