Man, 2020 was a year to remember and also a year to forget. Right around the time the world started to shutdown was when Niko was starting to play with other kids in our neighborhood at our playground. Then, bam, in a flash, that stopped! When it’s safe, we told Niko that he will be doing a lot of things outside our house and we will do our part to find him some friends.
So, the biggest thing that will be happening to me in 2021 is I will be graduating with an MBA from Western Governors University. How cool is that? Yes, I will be Mark Lieberman, BBA, MBA!
As far as my Dad Bod goes, I am trying to eat better; it’s much easier to write about than it’s to actually do it. This month, I was trying to stay away from sweets; well, it didn’t happen! Next month, I am planning on having much smaller portions of rice and pasta. Even though, I failed cutting out sweets, I am still going to move forward with the rice and pasta and I will try again for no sweets.
As far as work goes for me, I have been working from home since April and have really been enjoying it. I like that I can sleep in for an extra 75 minutes and when I am done, I am already home; I don’t have to fight traffic for an hour, I like getting more time to be with my son after work, and my family likes having me home. I am not sure when I will be returning to the office.
As far as Niko goes, he is doing really good despite what is happening in the world. He knows how to wear a mask properly; unlike a lot of people. When we do go out, we are always very safe.
