Hard Work

Posted on 06/06/201603/13/2026 by Mark Lieberman
So, after 4 weeks off from work for my Paternity leave and my 1 week back at work since, I can easily say that having a baby is hard and extremely demanding.  There is no way I could’ve prepared physically, mentally, and emotionally.  Not even research or open discussions with other parents. would have sufficed.

Right now, we are on baby time and baby time has no clock!!!  For someone like me who likes to be early, it is hard for me to adjust.

Despite all this, I am having the time of my life with my son and wife (even though I am still sleep deprived) and I have absolutely no regrets about not wearing protection on that hot August night (yes, that is a Neil Diamond reference). We both knew what could possibly happen in 9 months and I would do it again in a few years!!!
