Well, it’s been 9 days and Niko is doing awesome and I am so proud of him. No accidents and when I get him at midnight and 3 am, he pees, gets a small drink of water, and goes back to bed.
Me, I am doing OK. I also get to pee at those times, which is nice, but my struggle is getting up to get him. I feel my alarm vibrating on my arm on my Apple Watch and turn it off and fall back asleep. But, I do eventually get up a few minutes later and pray that as I am walking from my bedroom to Niko’s bedroom, that I don’t step on any toys! Nina did tell me that in a few weeks when she is feeling better; she had surgery on January 29th and is still recovering from it, she can do the midnight shift and I will do the 3 am shift. That would really help me a lot. Especially, since I do school work in the evenings and when I am done, it’s usually around 9:30 or 10 pm. I come upstairs, read my book for a few minutes, and then go to sleep since I have to be awake in 2 hours!
