So, Niko has officially transitioned from newborn diapers to size 1. Most of his newborn clothes are too small (no worries as we have plenty of larger clothes available). In January, one of my co-workers at work gave Nina and I two huge boxes of baby clothes. It is such a relief to know that we don’t have worry about clothes for at least 2 years. Yes, we have purchased some on our own and gotten gifts from people. We have packed up his co-sleeper and diaper changing station (he is too tall for both) from the pack and play for future use. Now, by that, I mean if Nina and I decide to have a baby sister or brother for Niko, we will already have equipment and clothes!! If that happens, it will be in about 2 or 3 years.
The primary reason I wanted to be at this particular appointment is I knew he would be getting shots (which would hurt and make him cry) and I couldn’t let Nina go alone. I won’t go into detail (well, maybe a teeny bit as he got some sweet looking Spiderman Band-Aids). He did cry when they gave him the shots (hey, he is only 2-months old; of course he is going to cry). And, they didn’t even give me a lollipop afterwards!!!
