Short Attention Span and Not Enough Time

Posted on 11/25/201904/19/2025 by Mark

After Nina had her surgery on November 9th, I took the following week off to help her and take care of Niko. It was a lot of work; mainly because Niko got sick later on that week and two days that week, he woke up at 4:30 am.

Yes, I was overwhelmed with everything and tried my best to get some school work completed.

It’s hard balancing my job, my wife, my son, and my school work . The week I returned back to work, my attention span for school was shrinking, I was tired when I came home from work, and I didn’t think I could keep on doing it. I was ready to quit.

But, I talked to my wife who is the best supporter in the world and I also talked to a backup program mentor; mine was off for a few days, and they were both encouraging and provided some really good ideas for how I can get it to work.

So, I am much better now and am actually almost done with my first course.
