Yesterday, in the middle of the afternoon, Niko made an announcement, “I AM BORED.” To counter that, I offered several things for us to do, and he turned them all down. Most of my dad suggestions were things to do outside, as it was an absolutely perfect day (we had windows open and a/c off).
I tried, and failed! Oh well. But, a few minutes later, Niko asked me to play Wobbly Life on the Switch 2 with him, and he set it up for us. It’s a fun “life simulator” game with a lot of activities where the purpose is too make money and buy things. I was able to drive a car and smash into things, while Niko enjoyed running me over when I was on foot and he also really got a thrill of picking me up and dragging me with him. It’s from the same makers as another game he has called Human Fall Flat (that one is more of a brain thinking game). On both, the characters are very wobbly so it’s a challenge to move your feet and arms and make them do things.
Today, I am hoping he is not bored as I am planning on taking him to an open house at The Big Lake Car Condos. I am going because I am curious about it and it will be fun to see some cars and get some pictures. We will get some food if we like it from the food trucks. If not, we will go next door and have Mexican food in Minnesota!
