Joe is thriving, as his autistic brother, Jeremy, is doing well with Joe as his guardian and his girlfriend, Lila, is about to take the bar. One day at the AP office, where Joe is a writer, he is given a press release of somebody by the name of Joe Talbert has died. Could this be his dad, whom he never knew of?
Well, obviously, Joe is curious and investigates it. Not only that, but he somehow gets his name in the middle of everything happening. I won’t spoil anything, so I won’t say what happened to Joe, but I will say, I just want to step into his world, and give him a hug. I like him. And, he did good. Oh crap, did I just spoil it?
Very glad I got one more Joe book. I am actually reading Allen Esken’s books in publication order. Just started Nothing More Dangerous, about Boady Sanden.
