House Shopping

Posted on 03/08/201803/13/2026 by Mark Lieberman

On Sunday, Nina and I did a lot of house shopping without Niko!  I do enjoy bringing him with us but I know it’s hard for him getting in and out of the carseat several times.  Plus, it was nice to have some alone time with Nina; I really like her.

Franklin still isn’t a good babysitter so we got my parents to come over and babysit Niko.

I am very glad we live in the digital age where my parents can send us text messages and where we can view the camera when are out in the world; rather than stopping at a pay phone or using one of those really old bag cell phones.

So, below are the real texts between Nina, me, and my Dad for Niko’s nap:

I know my parents really wanted to get Niko immediately and cuddle him because that would very likely soothe him; heck, I wanted to do that and I wasn’t even home.  Nina and I know Niko and that eventually he will cry himself to sleep, which is exactly what he did; for 75 minutes!
