This is by far one of the best books I have read this year. Not only is it due to her age and everything she has lived through, but it’s also her extremely positive vibes on life. I really enjoyed learning about her life, especially how she got started as a teacher. She never complained about the job as she was told where to go by the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM).
What most impressed me was her enthusiasm for sports and her willingness to become the team chaplain for the Loyola basketball team. Besides a prayer for the team, she also included quick pointers for the team that related to basketball. She even emailed the coaching staff a scouting report on opposing teams. She became very popular as the team gained more wins, and in 2014 the team went to the Final Four.
