The Heavens May Fall (Max Rupert, #3) – by Allen Eskens

Posted on 02/09/202602/09/2026 by Mark

So far, this has been my favorite Max Rupert book. I mean, we got Max, we got Boady, we got Lila, we got Max’s wife’s death haunting him, we got a murder, we got a murder trial (where the criminal also happens to be an attorney – it’s Boady), and we gots lots of suspense throughout the book. Throw it together, and you get something fantastic.

The other night as I was reading, I really wanted to keep on going as I was so close to the end. I kept saying to myself, one more chapter. I didn’t want to stop and have to wait to finish it to next morning.
