Middletide – by Sara Crouch

Posted on 08/07/2024 by Mark

This was my Book of the Month selection from May. Although I purchased the physical book, I ended up reading it on my Kindle. I actually canceled by BOTM subscription as I wasn’t enjoying the selection of books and genres to choose monthly. So, I have one more BOTM left, and, hopefully, I will read that read soon. Both are crime fiction books. Just like the Spenser books I have been reading (I am on number 23 of 51)! Somebody is killed, and we are trying to solve it?

It was written as several different time frames and not in order either: 1973, 1977, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, and the last one in 1994. So, we really get to see the characters live their life’s and what happened to them. I enjoyed this way of telling the story, and was very surprised by how it ended.
