This is the 4th book in the FunJungle series, and I just finished reading it to my 8-year-old son. He really likes the characters, the animals, and the surprising plot twists. A few weeks ago, we went to IKEA and he saw a Koala stuffed animal, so, of course, he had to have it! He even named it Li Ping, you know from the book.
I really like how while I am reading it to him, he is constantly thinking about what’s happening next. And, sometimes, we stop and discuss what just happened as I want to make sure he is following along and not thinking about his Rubik’s cube! Often times, though, when I stop to tell him something off topic from the book, he looks at me with his blue eyes, and says “READ THE BOOK, I DON’T CARE ABOUT WHAT OUR PLANS ARE FOR THE FOLLOWING DAY’!
