Yesterday, I was planning on getting gas in Nina’s car and going to Goodwill to donate some stuff. Afterwards, Niko and I were going to do something fun in the world. I gave him several things to choose: UrbanAir, the museum we visited on 3/22 for his field trip, the children’s museum, North Star Mall, Rivercenter Mall, The Shops at La Cantera, CVS, Target, or just get in the car with me for my errands and then we come home. Well, he chose none of the above as he wanted to stay home. I was disappointed as I was looking forward to spending some time with him. I mean, when we go out, he always enjoys himself. Later in the day, I even offered to drive somewhere for a shake. He declined that. So, I ran my errands alone and after I got gas, I FaceTimed him to ask if he wanted me to pick him up as I was across the street. Again, he declined.
This morning, when he woke up, he wanted to go to IHOP. I was like, of course. It’s not my favorite place in the world for breakfast, but he likes it.
He drank my chocolate milk, he had three pieces of my toast, he had one of my pancakes, and devoured a side of ham! He didn’t even eat his cinnamon bun crepes, so I took them as leftovers for his breakfast tomorrow. Oh, I had an omelette with cheddar cheese, bacon, and sausage. It was so much that I also took mine as leftovers for my breakfast tomorrow.
