The Diary of a Manic OCD Bookseller – by James Bailey

Posted on 12/04/2023 by Mark

I belong to several Facebook groups for writers and book reviews, and in one of them, James Baily self-promoted this book. I saved the post so I could not only add it to my Amazon Wishlist, but also so I could reply to him directly. I have corresponded with a few authors.

The premise for the book is he is trying to sell his first book, Man Interrupted (about his OCD). Yes, I do have that one and another one he wrote called Almost Texas in my Amazon Wishlist.

So, he goes to California and directly to bookstores to sell his book. What better way than to talk to people about it, and then sign it for them. What a great idea! He meets a lot of interesting people along the way from homeless to celebrities, and the stories he tells are very funny.

Overall, I enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading the other books.
