Wow, how about that for alliteration. Yeah, I know, unique! Okay, enough about the English language. Wait, I have one more thing to say on the English language, and that is Niko often asks us about homophones, words that sound the same but are spelled differently. Our explanation is always the English language is weird.
So, every day, Nina writes a note on Niko’s lunchbox. Nina enjoys doing it, and I hope Niko enjoys reading them. Yes, I have saved a few of the notes and often recycle them on his lunchbox when I pack his lunch. I am not that creative to think of something fun to say to Niko. Niko, enjoy your sandwich, chips, fruit, dessert, and juice. Love Dad. See, not fun and imaginative.
Man, Nina even signs her name with hearts.
Nina even wrote notes to me and would sneak them in my lunchbox when I worked in an office and also after I passed each class when I was getting my MBA online at Western Governors University. I used two of the MBA notes as the cover page for my book I wrote called: The Dad Gets Edumacated.
As I sit at my work from home desk, I am greeted by a smiley Nina note on the windowpane, and I love it. Makes me smile every time I look at it.
I think Nina has a few notes that I wrote her in her wallet and car console.
For our first Anniversary, Nina printed out a book for me of most of our email and text exchanges. I should try to find it and reread them and if funny, I can publish a few of them.
