Fly Girl – by Ann Hood

Posted on 01/18/2023 by Mark

I knew nothing of who Ann Hood was and had no clue that the book was about her being a flight attendant on TWA during 1970’s and 1980’s. Seemed like an interesting read, and after one page of reading it, I was flying away page by page and I rarely had time to put my Kindle in its original upright position.

It provided a brief history of airlines and stewardesses and flight attendants. I enjoyed following her journey and the stories she told of what happened up in the air and down on the ground in whatever place she had some down time.

During her tenure as a flight attendant, she was also reading books and trying to be an author, which she did eventually accomplish. Her husband, a chef, has also written several books.
