Last Saturday, Niko and I went to Living Spaces. He has been seeing a lot of commercials for Living Spaces on television lately, and since he likes to visit furniture stores and sit on every single couch and open every single cabinet, it was his idea to go. I was totally cool with doing it but had to first out where they were located locally. And, when I found the location, I told Niko that Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is across the street and Trader Joe’s is close by. I was planning on letting him steer the cart and get whatever he wanted at Trader Joe’s. I told him food and snacks for home, and how about some snacks for school?
When I pointed out the Living Spaces sign and store, he had the biggest smile. That is what I live for – happy son, happy dad! It wasn’t even crowded, and he enjoyed looking, sitting, touching, opening, and talking about everything on the showroom floor.
After Living Spaces, we went to Freddy’s for cheeseburgers, fries, a shake for him, a soda for me, and chicken tenders. I have been craving chicken tenders for a few weeks, and they were good, but not the best I have ever eaten! My parents live nearby, so I texted them and they stopped by to see Niko. They like him more than me! Before I left Freddy’s, I ordered Nina a burger and fries – happy wife, happy life!
As for Trader Joe’s, we didn’t make it as Niko was ready to be done.
