Today was cold and rainy, so we bundled up and did stuff in the outside world.
Nina and Niko got books at Half Priced Books. I looked but didn’t find anything that I liked. I have one paperback book that I will bring on our cruise next month and will also make sure I have several on my Kindle.
Nina and Niko got drinks at Starbucks. I don’t drink coffee and don’t care for there on the go snacks. I think the reason Niko wanted a hot cocoa was that he saw the Starbucks signage from the parking lot of Half Price Books and Great Clips.
I wanted noodles not Starbucks as I have been craving them for two weeks. So, tomorrow, I will go out by myself and satisfy that. I could’ve placed an order for pickup close by the meat market, but I was cranky because I hadn’t had any food yet. Also, I was lazy and didn’t feel like getting my phone out of my pocket.
Nina got a haircut at Great Clips. Niko got a haircut from Mama Clips a few days ago. I got mine cut a few weeks ago from Dada Clips.
Niko and I got cookies and salami from a meat market. Everything they had, looked yummy. Guess what? They had hamburger buns and I wish I had known that last weekend when Niko and I couldn’t find them at CVS or Walgreens.
Niko and I went to a music store and video game store, and he wasn’t impressed. The music store was more for lessons and the video game store didn’t have anything for Nintendo Switch. The only thing he wanted from the video game store was cheap candy and I said no.
Yesterday, I mentioned that I found an app for my iPhone that allows me to take a picture of the stories I wrote in high school and college and convert them to a text file. Well, I just have one left to do and that means, I can start editing them now to make them better. Two of them may end up being a very short and cheap E-book and the other two may end up as a long blog on www.thedadspeaks.com.
