Hiding Things

Posted on 02/06/202204/19/2025 by Mark

Niko likes to take my things and hide them.

A few days ago, I was looking for my belt and I looked at Niko and asked him if he hid it? His reply was No! So, I told him, ok, then while we are out, we will buy me a new belt. Then, a few minutes later, Niko got up and went to my closet and found my belt.

On Monday night, I was looking for my new iPad case as it wasn’t where I last left it. I asked Niko if he hid it and he replied NO! Then, a few minutes later, I asked again, and he was like yes, I hid it, but I don’t remember where. But he did remember as he opened my armoire and found it.

Then, a few days ago, I picked up our bathroom mat to wash it and underneath it were a few WGU (the school where I got my MBA last March) items from my night table. I laughed and then told Niko and he laughed also!

The best thing he hid was something that belonged to him, it was his toy left-handed scissors. We ended up buying a new pair for him, but several weeks later, he lifted the corner of our mattress and there were the lost scissors.
