You know something, Best Buy is a fun place to take Niko because it’s close to home, close to food, he can’t really break any fridges, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, stoves, microwaves, printers, and alexa and google products, they have big televisions, they have video games, and it’s clean and safe (as the majority of people in the store had masks). We haven’t been to Best Buy in a long time and just recently, we are starting to go out in the world since we are vaccinated. I bring our masks and if the store requires or encourages it, we mask up. Not a big deal to us.
It was easy for me because I just followed Niko around and let him touch almost everything. I even watched him play some Nintendo Switch video games. The only thing we purchased was a Super Mario stuffed animal. Right now, and for several months, Mario is his favorite thing in the world, probably more than chocolate! Niko wore his purple snow/rain boots, Mario pants, Mario shirt, and a Mario hat. He forced me to wear a Luigi hat and how can I say no to him! Some kids a little bit older than Niko addressed us Mario and Luigi and told us we should have our own YouTube show! I was like, OK…what should we call it? They were like, you think of the name!
When we got in car after we finished, Niko wanted a chocolate shake and although I didn’t answer him, when he saw a minute later that I was at the drive through for Freddy’s, his face lit up with a huge smile. I was able to get a large root beer.
Afterwards, we had one more stop and that was a Chinese food pick-up order for lunch. The place we got has a drive through and the food was yummy in my tummy. Yeah, I like to eat.
