Rolling A Ball

Posted on 08/22/202104/19/2025 by Mark

Had I known that rolling, throwing, kicking, and bouncing a ball from the Little Tikes basketball hoop indoors would be so much fun for Niko, I would’ve done it more often. Yesterday, we did it three times. We do have to take drinking and cooling off breaks for both of us.

It’s good physical activity for him as I can stay one in place; next to the staircase, and no matter where the ball ends up, he is willing to get it. He gets so excited and does a lot of happy shrieks and laughs!

It also teaches him how to catch a ball, how to stop and kick a ball with his foot, and how to aim.

I enjoy it also, mainly because he enjoys it. I just have to make sure he does it gently as I don’t want to break anything upstairs.

When it gets cooler outside, we will definitely take this fun activity outside.
