I have been working from home for almost a year already and I know I am not the only person who has gained weight during this time! I have tried to eat healthier and it usually works for a few days, but then I fall off the cliff and eat unhealthy.
Last week, I ordered two new pairs of shorts and without thinking, I didn’t change the size. And, when I tried them on, guess what? They were tight! I could’ve easily exchanged them for a larger size, but I decided against that.
So, that is my motivation now and to help me achieve that, I am going to do 30 days of no pasta and rice. I am proud to say that I actually started this on Thursday and so far, I am doing good. After the 30 days are up, I will continue no pasta and rice, but will get rid of something else for 30 days; like chocolate or bread.
I don’t have a number in mind for weight, but my goal is to fit comfortably in those new shorts.
I know eating healthier is a big factor in weight loss, but in the next few weeks I may buy myself a bicycle. It would be something new that Niko and I can do together, even though he is still learning how to ride his. Or, I can just go up and down the stairs several times a day like I do already!
