I have been working from home since last April. When I first started this, my downstairs office was a leather sofa! It was good for a few months, but then I wanted a real place to do my work. I wanted a real desk!
The desk I have been using is actually a small sofa table, but it’s a great size for my laptop, drinks, food, iPhone, iPad, and scratch paper if I needed to write something down for work. But, a few days ago, I moved that sofa table upstairs because I tend to work more upstairs than downstairs and when I do work upstairs, I sit in a recliner. And lately, that recliner has not been comfortable for me.
So, now, I have my sofa table desk and my super comfy bungee cord chair to work in and where I placed it, it’s not in the way when Niko plays. I even purchased a laptop power supply and an additional Wi-Fi extender and ethernet cable for upstairs. When I am plugged in with a cable, everything works much smoother for me.
I just purchased a new small desk for downstairs and the table I am currently using; which I grabbed from a neighbors sidewalk as they were getting rid of it, will be placed outside on the front porch. Niko and I will use to it eat and do fun things on it since I don’t care what happens to it. The new desk should be arriving this week.
