Yesterday, I completed my 6th class at WGU in my MBA; it was Accounting. I have 4 remaining along with a capstone. I started the class on May 1st, but at that same time is when Niko turned into a crazy maniac at nighttime and would run around the house screaming and laughing instead of going to bed. It was very stressful on Nina and I. By the time I would finally be able to do some studying, I was tired, stressed, and had very little time to actually understand and read the Accounting material. I really was going to quit, but I decided to tackle the Ethics class which was writing 3 papers and then come back to Accounting later, which I did and now it’s completed. As far as Niko, it took him a few weeks to get rid of that crazy stage before nighttime and now, he is back to his normal routines of going to sleep. So, I will take a night off tonight from school and will start Financial Management tomorrow.
AND
I am one week in on eating better and am doing excellent. I am trying to train my body to know that we will be eating 3 meals a day with very little snacks in between. A big breakfast, a medium lunch, and a small dinner. I am eating fruits and vegetables every day and it’s not bad. I haven’t had chocolate since last Sunday and although I really wanted brownies that Nina made, I didn’t do it; I did inhale the aroma! The one food that kicked my ass this week was fried fish sticks. I had one serving for lunch (about 6 pieces). Yes, I am looking at servings now. Then for dinner, I ate a lot more. Hey, they were just egging me on to eat them and I did.
As for exercise, I gave my Apple watch to Nina because hers broke and I purchased a Fitbit Inspire. It does notify me to get up every hour and I try to do it. During the week, I do take a quick short walk outside in the morning to our mailbox a few houses down. This morning, Niko and I went swimming and before that, I mowed the backyard. Chasing and playing with Niko all day is a lot of exercise and I do that on Saturday’s and Sunday’s.
