First Class In My MBA Is DONE

Posted on 12/08/201904/19/2025 by Mark

I started my MBA at WGU on 11/1 and I am proud to say, my first class is done! It was a lot of work and during the 2nd week when Nina had surgery and Niko got sick, I was a bit overwhelmed and really wanted to quit, but I stuck with it; with the help from my wife and a program mentor.

I don’t have a dedicated desk to do my schoolwork; I use the sofa as my chair and a comfy cushion for my laptop. I have a sofa table, coffee table, and the rest of the sofa to spread out all of my things! But, I may move a small sofa table from the upstairs office to somewhere downstairs; Nina just wants me to me attach it to a stud so Niko can’t move it. I used to use that sofa table in our old house before Niko arrived to write.

Even though I love my Kindle, I traded it in and will buy myself an iPad Mini in a few weeks. The iPad will allow me to do some schoolwork during my workdays; writing and reading and I can get the Kindle app to read e-books.

Hi, I am Mark. I started writing in 2011 about high school football, daddy blogging since 2015, and reviewing books since 2023. My writing style is unique, my sense of humor is a little crazy, and I’m not embarrassed to share any of it. You can email me at thedadspeaks@icloud.com.
