Niko getting out of his pajamas?
Right now, Niko absolutely refuses to take his pajamas off. These pajamas aren’t long pants and a long shirt; they are footed cotton pajamas that cover his entire body except his face and hand! He wears them all the time and the bottom of them have holes. When I ask him why, his reply is he doesn’t want anything to bite him; whether it be bugs or Franklin cat. Yeah, I know, that is a good reason. I tried telling him that since I am bigger and have more skin, they will bite me, but that reasoning didn’t work. I also tried telling him it’s hot outside and Dad is wearing shorts and a t-shirt and he should follow me, but again, that reasoning didn’t work. When we have somewhere to go with him, it is always a challenge, because he screams and cries. But, when we do get them off; like 30 minutes later, he is a happy camper. Can a 3 year old have mood swings?
Niko getting out of the shower?
Right now, Niko absolutely loves taking showers in our bathroom. When it does happen, he runs to our closet and takes off his pajamas all by himself and he then puts them in the laundry pile. Unless he needs to get shampooed or he wants to shampoo me, I let him have complete control of the shower-head. I just stand outside and tell him what to do and he does it. I enjoy being in the shower with him because we both get clean and we laugh a lot! He can’t get hurt nor can he break anything. I tell him to turn off the water when he is finished and that usually happens about 2 minutes later. He opens the shower door and I give him a towel to dry himself off; and about 15 seconds after that, he is running naked and doing happy screams to the office where Nina is working.
