Since last July, I have been doing the nighttime stuff with Niko and that includes bathing him, getting him on the toilet to pee and/or poop, feeding him snacks and drinks, dressing him, singing to him, reading books to him, and eventually after almost an hour of all this, I get to put him in the crib for sleeping. I love it and enjoy the time we spend together. Once we get in the really comfy chair, I know I am at a really good place and I don’t have to worry about anything.
For the past few nights after we finish his bathroom duties and instead of reading books, we chat. The best part of this is the fact that he is naked! We chat about his day, my day, what I will be doing after I get done with you, what we will be doing tomorrow, and I ask him lots of questions and he answers them. We laugh, cuddle, and I get lots of kisses!
