People keep asking if Niko is in the WHY phase yet? My answer is always WHY? Because I say so! Or as Niko says when I ask him WHY…because I’m your dada!
Actually, right now he is in the WHAT phase and it goes for anything. What is that thing? What is in there? What was that noise?
I prefer WHAT over WHY because, I can easily tell Niko what everything is and does. And, he is so smart and remembers everything.
For the past several weeks, I have been showing him a picture book of houses and every picture, he asks me what’s in the door?, what’s in the drawers? and what’s that? Yeah, we do a lot of talking and he doesn’t shut-up; I wonder where he gets that from?
Last Sunday, we drove to my parents house to celebrate Rosh Hashanah; also known as the Jewish New Year! He is and has been facing forward for a few weeks and everything he saw, he wanted to know what’s that? In our neighborhood, we have a boat ramp and there is a port-a-potty and when he saw it and asked what’s that, Nina replied a poopy box! On that drive down on Sunday, one of the major highways is undergoing construction and lots of poopy boxes were being pointed out by the three of us.
I think I need to scratch this entire BLOG because for the past few days, he is now asking BECAUSE after everything!
