So, Niko has started to poop in the big potty. I don’t mind sitting with him and rubbing his belly all while talking to him while he does his business. Yes, it stinks; or as Niko says STINKAROOS! But the clean-up is easy as all he has to do is flush. One of the best things about this is he has told us when he needs to go; last week it was while he was in the bathtub.
The challenging part is wiping him. When he finishes, I have to pick him up because I do’t want him walking out on his own; at least not yet. We wash our hands and I have to be sure my arm doesn’t touch his butt. I then have to get him to lay down on his stomach somewhere so I can wipe till it’s clean.
His reward the past few times has been an ice cream cone!
